The partner UNIMIB
(University of Milano-Bicocca) will employ its instrumentation for cell culture,
biochemical and molecular studies and microscopy imaging set up to study the
cellular and organ response to various agents (a High Pressure Liquid
Chromatography HPLC set-up is available). The staff involved in the
research will be: 1 full professor (Prof. G. Miserocchi, task leader of WP3), 1
associate professor, 1 researcher and 1 technician. 2 PostDoc fellows will be
hired for the whole duration of the Project and completely dedicated to the
scheduled Project activities (biotesting of BONSAI nanoparticles and evaluation
of pharmacodynamics aspects). Prof. G. Miserocchi and his group have well known
reputation and expertise in microfluidity applied in-vivo organ tissue models
and in particular in cell-interstitial macromolecular matrix interaction.
